Chapter 1

Another gospel. Not from men

24 verses

But even if we or an angel out of heaven gospelize to you beside what we gospelized to you, let him be anathema.

¹ Paul, apostle — not from men nor through a man, but through Jesus Christ and God Father, the one having raised him out of dead ones —

² and all the brothers with me, to the churches of Galatia:

³ grace to you and peace from God Father and our Lord Jesus Christ,

⁴ the one having given himself on behalf of our sins, so that he might take us out of the present evil age, according to the will of our God and Father,

⁵ to whom the glory unto the ages of the ages. Amen.

⁶ I marvel that thus quickly you are being transferred from the one having called you in grace of Christ unto another gospel,

⁷ which is not another, except some are the ones troubling you and willing to change-over the gospel of the Christ.

⁸ But even if we or an angel out of heaven gospelize to you beside what we gospelized to you, let him be anathema.

⁹ As we have said-before, also now I say again: if anyone gospelizes to you beside what you received, let him be anathema.

¹⁰ For now do I persuade men or God? Or do I seek to please men? For if I were still pleasing men, I would not be a slave of Christ.

¹¹ And I make known to you, brothers, the gospel, the one having been gospelized by me, that it is not according to man;

¹² for neither did I receive it from a man, nor was I taught it, but through an unveiling of Jesus Christ.

¹³ For you heard my turning-about once in Judaism, that according to a throwing-beyond I was persecuting the church of God and was destroying it,

¹⁴ and I was cutting-forward in Judaism above many contemporaries in my race, being more a zealot of the givings-over of my fathers.

¹⁵ And when it thought-well to God, the one having marked me off out of my mother’s womb and having called through his grace,

¹⁶ to unveil his Son in me, that I might gospelize him in the nations, immediately I did not put-toward flesh and blood,

¹⁷ nor did I go up into Jerusalem toward those apostles before me, but I came away into Arabia, and again I returned into Damascus.

¹⁸ Thereafter after three years I went up into Jerusalem to history Cephas, and I remained-upon toward him fifteen days;

¹⁹ and another of the apostles I did not see, except James the brother of the Lord.

²⁰ And what things I write to you, behold, before God, that I do not lie.

²¹ Thereafter I came into the regions of Syria and of Cilicia.

²² And I was being unknown by face to the churches of Judea, the ones in Christ;

²³ and only they were hearing that The one persecuting us once now gospelizes the faith which once he was destroying,

²⁴ and they were glorifying God in me.
